The Serious Fraud Office is pleased to announce it has agreed to an increase in rates of pay for all King’s Counsel and Panel Counsel instructed on our cases.
This represents the first increase since 2007 and will allow the SFO to continue accessing the high-quality legal advice and representation it requires to tackle the biggest fraud, bribery and corruption investigations and prosecutions in the UK. The increase will be met from within the SFO’s existing budget funded by savings and efficiencies found during the Spending Review.
The increase will take effect from 1 September this year.
