Woodbridge man admits $2.3 million pandemic relief program scheme

May 12, 2025 — Marc H. Silverman, Acting United States Attorney for the District of Connecticut, today announced that on May 9, 2025, Yasir G. Hamed, of Woodbridge, waived his right to be indicted and pleaded guilty before U.S. District Judge Stefan R.
