Last week, AMLA welcomed the FIU working group to its premises for the first time.
This inaugural meeting marks the beginning of an important collaboration to define the support and coordination framework for the FIU pillar — a key part of AMLA’s mission.
As AMLA’s Chair, Bruna Szego, noted:
“AMLA has the potential to transform the fight against financial crime in the European Union by reinforcing the cooperation between Financial Intelligence Units (FIUs).”
