So, what is the Roskill Model? ⚖️

Prior to 1987, UK fraud investigations suffered from structural inefficiencies. Cases followed a sequential process where police conducted investigations, then passed files to legal teams, who then sent them to prosecutors. This separate approach often lead to delays, information loss, and case failures. 

The Roskill Committee transformed this system. Named after Lord Roskill, the committee’s findings led to the establishment of the Serious Fraud Office in 1988, built on multidisciplinary integration.
