French authorities took action in 66 prisons across the country against a new type of device that prisoners are using to communicate with the outside world and continue their criminal activities. Following findings by the prosecutor of the Judicial Court of Paris JUNALCO that these devices are being sold worldwide, Eurojust ensured that critical information on the devices was transmitted to the Agency’s National Desks and Liaison Prosecutors.
