Bank general counsel sentenced to 4 years in prison for $7.4 million embezzlement scheme

April 24, 2025 — Marc H. Silverman, Acting United States Attorney for the District of Connecticut, announced that James Blose of Fairfield, was sentenced today by U.S. District Judge Robert N. Chatigny in Hartford to 48 months of imprisonment, followed by three years of supervised release, for offenses stemming from a decade-long embezzlement scheme at banks where he served as General Counsel and held other high-ranking positions.  Read More
