FINTRAC’s financial intelligence was recognized by the Toronto Police Service in Project Foxxx, an interprovincial firearms and drug investigation into a Toronto street gang known as the Jamestown Crips. As a result of the investigation, 32 people are facing 158 charges. The investigation has led to the seizure of 9 firearms, 4.7 kilos of cocaine (approximate street value of $568,000), 6 kilos of methamphetamine (approximate street value of $480,000) and over $320,000 in proceeds of crime.
